This individual will be responsible for developing liquid formulations for protein based therapeutics. This person will perform pre-formulation screening studies, design and execute stability studies, and assist in the isolation and characterization of degradants. He/she will assist in the biophysical characterization of protein to support the recommended formulation. Required Skills Please describe the degree requirement/preference, skills and abilities required for this internship BS/MS in biochemistry or related discipline with relevant experience in protein formulation development and biophysical characterization. A good understanding of protein structure and function is desirable. Technical Skills Please list any technical skills required for this position. (e.g., advanced Excel skills, experience with statistics, etc?) ? Good scientific knowledge of biophysical (DSC, DLS, CD, FTIR, fluorescence, etc) and analytical techniques (SE-HPLC, SDS-PAGE, MFI, etc)? Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Other Requirements List any other job requirements required for this internship? Must be well-organized and self-motivated. ? Ability to perform effectively and concurrently on multiple projects in a goal-oriented, timeline-driven, and dynamic work environment while ensuring quality and accuracy. ? Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with peers, management, and leadership both within and outside of the client. ? Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to deliver good presentations and well written technical documents.
